Publishing workflow
- Markdown authoring. Posts are written in Markdown, keeping content portable and easy to edit.
- Drafts and scheduling. Posts move between draft and published states, and can be scheduled to publish later.
- Tags and series. Related explainers are grouped by tag and into series, so readers can follow a topic across posts.
- Cover and Open Graph images. Each post can carry its own cover image and social-sharing image.
Reader experience
- Full-text search across published posts.
- Table of contents for navigating long articles.
- A Tailwind CSS interface focused on readable typography.
SEO-oriented architecture
The platform is structured with search visibility in mind: per-post metadata and Open Graph images mean each article presents itself properly in search results and when shared.
Performance and operations
Pages are kept fast through caching and performance optimization, and the site runs on its own custom domain.
